In erotic environments where cameras are forbidden, Luma Rouge is there to capture the beauty, creativity and spectacle in her artwork. Sitting discreetly in the darkened room, she draws at the speed of lightning, using grease pencils, watercolors, and whatever liquid happens to be nearby.

Her favorite subjects are burlesque dancers, fetish kings and queens — strong, sensual beings who will keep you on your toes and leave you begging for more.

In addition to sketching the action live at underground venues, Luma has created artwork for The New York Burlesque Festival poster and program covers, The Jewish Museum and clothing sold at Selfridges in London. Luma sketched live on set during the filming of Burlesque, starring Cher and Christina Aguilera. Her drawings from the filming process are featured in Rizzoli’s companion book, Burlesque: The Motion Picture. Feature articles on Luma have appeared in Vegas Rated and Whore magazines. Luma Rouge has exhibited at the Museum of Sex in New York City.
